Harry Potter star Emma Watson revealed a little too much flesh when she suffered a wardrobe malfunction on her way to a plush showbiz party last night.
Disaster struck when the 20-year-old, who was wearing a short navy blue silk dress with plunging neckline, was en route to a pre-Baftas party.
A piece of tape which was supposed to be keeping the dress in place came undone, exposing more than she had intended.
She did her best to keep a straight face as the mishap was caught by cameras, even if the two girl friends she was travelling with didn’t quite know where to look.
Her daring costume is the latest sign that the star is keen to distance herself from her role as the uptight and nerdy trainee wizard Hermione Granger, which has turned her into a household name.
With only one more Harry Potter film to go, the star, who is reputed to be worth £19 million, has already began work on other projects.
The Burberry model is currently filming My Week With Marilyn with Kenneth Branagh and Dame Judi Dench, about Marilyn Monroe’s encounters with Sir Laurence Olivier on the set of The Prince And The Showgirl.
The Harry Potter franchise will be awarded a special Bafta prize for Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema at the Royal Opera House ceremony tonight.
Watson said of the accolade: ‘This is a huge honour! Thank you to Jo Rowling for all the past ten years and to all the loyal fans who have been with us throughout.’
She's due to receive the gong with co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint.
Emma was joined at the pre-Bafta's party, thrown by PR company Finch & Partners at member's bar Mark's Club in Mayfair, by a host of famous faces.
Model Laura Bailey gave her a run for her money in a pretty blue creation, her hair neatly tied back showing off her delicate features.
